Only recently introduced new snails, everything comes from the same LFS I don't quarantine, I do run uv I noticed that my basslet doesn't eat frozen or pellets The appetite change, seemed one off He goes nuts for flakes omega one, but tonight he'll still eat but seems picky A few nights ago, I noticed he had stringy poop
- Better to by premixed salt water or mix own
Way cheaper than buying from the LFS and probably a better salt than they use to boot Aqua_aaron - Reef Crystals and IO are made by the same company and a chemical analysis of the 2 showed that the only difference between Reef Crystals and IO was the price

My LFS was having a really hard time finding decent employees because most of the reef nuts are older, have families, and already work full-time at other places Being younger generally makes you less tied down, and rather than applying I was just offered a job because they saw first hand what I knew when I was just randomly talking to another

Its possible, especially if you have high grade guppies or shrimps which are in demand Just check with the LFS and see if they are keen to source some stock from you The prices they usually get from suppliers are way lower though, so do be prepared to manage your earnings expectations

Find a new lfs and change as much water as you can If you have a 30gallon container to do a 100% water change do it RODI is the way to go for water, you might find a good source of it as a window cleaning place Failing that Im sure you can get units on Amazon for relatively little 🙂

Traditionally (and obviously) LFS will import and sell the fish While the fish species are available the hobbyist can see them However once they are sold out you'll have to wait till next season or the charity of a fellow hobbyist to show you their home tanks

Re: Which lfs can I grab cheap shrimps? Oo, thanks for all the advise, I'll dropby seaview soon to take a look once my tank is stable, currently 1 death per day for panda loch, bought 6 and now 4 left, clown loach has been transferred to my monster fish tank and are quite stable now
