What is the Difference between SPS, LPS, Soft Corals, and more What are some of the others? I am new to all of the coral stuff and what to get a better understanding of how it all works

Do LPS (Blastos, Micromussa, etc) do ok on the sandbed long term? Do they form a skeleton that allows them to spread out or do they just keep growing into a ball, potentially causing issues as they get larger?

Mix for the most part! The only thing off-limits are leathers, as they generally don't play nice with stony corals My 15G is a fully mixed reef with SPS, LPS, Zoas, Shrooms and Star Polyps, and a maxi-mini nem I have a 25G SPS-dominant reef, or so i'd like to think, seeing as how everything that isn't SPS or LPS, is covered in blue clove polyps!

The commonly suggested “low” values, aren’t always true If you are having success with LPS coral at a certain level, then trying SPS there is a good place to start My SPS tanks have a nitrate range of 15-35 ppm, and phosphate around 03- 05 ppm I prefer to keep nitrate around 10-15 ppm, but honestly haven’t noticed any ill effects
