Lavaman takes place on the spectacular island of Hawai'i Swim in beautiful Anaeho'omalu Bay, ride through the lava fields on the iconic Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway and run through Waikoloa resort, finishing on the beach

If an athlete cannot race due to injury or other medical reason only, Lavaman will credit 50% of their entry fee, before fees and taxes, to the 2027 race only All requests for cancellation must be received by March 1, 2026

The Lavaman Waikoloa Triathlon bike is a 40 Kilometer ride on a portion of the Ironman World Champion Bike Course on the bike lane shoulder The turn around is through a tunnel under the highway
