Last year I went to Rbc in person to open an account to get my reward (iPad), and had a Rbc spokes person to manually make an account, and he screwed it all up! He literally asked me what account I wanted to make, I said the signature account, he then asked me if I was a student and after hearing I was, he made me a student account when I clearly let asked for a signature account!

Next thing RBC locks me out completely, I am unable to sign into online banking and can not use any of my cards I call them over 20 times for several hours of hold time I get different answers from each customer service representative and all of them said this could be resolved by calling fraud department

BC Retail Banking Systems Just Suck Really Badly I can't send a simple e-Transfer on my phone (with the app) or on my computer (RBC website), because it wants 2-factor authentication, but it won't send the notifications properly to allow that authentication to happen Says "having technical difficulties" all the time Just doesn't work

For example, if I do an eTransfer, move money around accounts, or even push money to someone else's RBC account, each one of those transactions produce the vague transaction description "Cash Withdrawal - BR to BR" Just sent a large payment to the CRA, and the description is "Online Banking Payment"

Not all credit unions are the same, Meridian's online interface is better than any of the Big 6 bank's online interface You can't lump all credit unions together but yes, most have shitty interfaces because they largely use Central 1's MemberDirect interface, even the new Forge platform isn't that much better

I am having a difficult time enrolling for online banking All day it said "Technical issues, try again later " I saw some people suggest trying a different browser, clearing cache, going incognito mode, trying your phone instead of desktop and it's not working
