What is a new, unissued Polish M44 worth these days? by Capybara » Mon Jan 06, 2014 4:33 pm Found one, but the owner wants $600 00 It has a few surface scratches but is basically a brand new looking rifle I have seen them selling for $400 00 to $500 00 I want it, but $600 00 seems ridiculous

unissued Polish M44 by Junk Yard Dog » Sat Aug 27, 2011 11:58 pm Brand new as in it's in arsenal unissued condition, still with some arsenal cosmoline on it and it has not been fired since it was factory proofed in 1953 It's been sitting packed away for 17 years with it's original Polish sling and cleaning kit with oil bottle

M44 unrefurbed aka 'The Warhorse' by Junk Yard Dog » Thu Jun 06, 2013 12:28 pm I would think Romania also, it look similar to a 1943 M44 issued rifle that I have put away The Romanians kept the rifles going by cannibalizing parts of totally shot out rifles to keep the better ones going They didn't seem to go in for rebluing, or refinishing
