7 62 Nato and 308 Winchester are vary similar and generally not an issue when using in GI or non GI barrels M80 ball is a bit higher pressure than 308win, and the case is also slightly longer than 308, but still safe in a 308 barrel Commercial 308win primers tend to be softer than M80, so there could be a potential for out of battery discharge
