My earliest memories of Oklahoma City go back to when Quail Springs Mall first opened in 1980 My mom bought me the General Lee matchbox car from Kay Bee Toys To a toddler, Quail Springs was freakin huge! Today, I can traverse the mall in less than five minutes

Re: Southside OKC Memories anyone? this is my first time I'm from southside, mainly gander flats on se 15th where I attended Shidler school from 1960 thru 1965 moved to Capitol Hill area and attended Capitol Hill Junior as well as Senior before dropping out to enlist in Marine Corps, graduating boot camp December 9, 1970

Re: Restaurant memories Nicolosi's was a block west of Ann Arbor on the south side of NW 10th, across from Parr Automotive The building is still there, there are empty lots on both sides from what I remember JR's Chicken Ranch was on the SE corner of NW 10th Purdue, there is an empty lot between them

Re: OKC restaurant memories I remember so many of these places mentioned Alamo Plaza on S Robinson had great fried chicken Kip's Big Boy on North May and a few other locations (great to color in their comic books) Howard Johnson's Best fried clams on the planet Holloway's Charcoal Burgers on NW 23rd and Grand (now I-44)

Re: Childhood Memories of OKC One of my earliest OKC pizza memories was Shotgun Sams on May just south of 39th I remember they gave you a huge playing card instead of an order number: "Four of Diamonds! Pizza for Four of Diamonds!" Also, remember loving Pizza Planet, particularly their crust

Re: Does anyone have memories of Christophers Restaurant or Dolores I loved Delores's and had lunch there often back in the 60's and 70's Usually went to Christopher's for a nice evening out - was very nice looking out on the little pond
