Remember that copays and fees (with regard to HDHP) only matter once you've exceeded your deductible So if your family needs $4000 worth of medical treatment, you're guaranteed to pay $4k with MHBP (due to the deductible), whereas GEHA will be $3200 (deductible) + 10% of $800 (or $3280) for the same treatment (based on 2024 rates)

I can't comment on MHBP but I've had both GEHA HDHP and Blue Cross Standard I strongly prefer GEHA I feel like I've received about the same medical coverage from both I really like that GEHA includes basic dental and vision with their HDHP That means that I don't have to track and manage 3 different policies

Definitely MHBP I switched from GEHA for the better network (Aetna for all states vs UHC's garbage network in most of the country for GEHA), lower negotiated prescription prices, and comparable copays and premiums
