- MKVToolnix - cropping or changing display width height
MvkToolnix can't crop or reencode Why bother cropping 4 lines anyway? You can force the display width height and cropping in the format specific options for the video stream But not all players will respect that

Thought I could just make mkv file and edit the chapter names later for future reference Is that possible? (I read some old threads and it has been suggested that one can do it with MKVToolnix by importing mkv and xml file, but would like to confirm ) Thanks in advance

This is how I proceed : 1 launch mkvtoolnix-gui exe 2 add source files 3 select mkv and srt files 4 at pop-up "Add as new source files to the current multiplex settings" [OK] 4 select the subtitle file, let's say, nl or und 5 in the right hand panel, default track flag: yes, track enabled: yes, forced display flag: yes 6 start multiplexing
