2 ipalm: MKV ToolNix GUI says the same thing MKVToolNix GUI Multiplexer shows it as a Timed Text (TTXT) subtitle You can also use MediaInfoto analyze the file The tool has many layouts I prefer the Text view (View menu → Text) TTXT is the standard text format supported by the MP4 container If you import a SRT into a MP4, it is converted

Use MKV Chapterizer if you need basic chapters such as every 5 minutes,i tried mkvtoolnix chapter editor and it's too much work for videos i'll watch and then put away

However, when I tested on a different file, it would only play for 5 seconds and then stop unless I change the quality setting which is still the issue when running the file through mkvtoolnix

Doh, totally forgot could easily split on the keyframes in MKVToolNix Here’s an example of both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ in the same file, with fallback to regular HDR10
