  • Lots of discussion at Bogleheads about MMM
MMM'ers are the same and more say compared to a kid in the Congo Sudan or Indonesia in the middle of nowhere Once you get past labels name calling it's really the same thing other than those guys being a bit more conservative less likely to 'retire' hit FI quite so early
  • Excel number format to convert number of month to name of month
Possibly you could do like I showed here but change it so your entry is 1 1 1900, 2 1 1990, 3 1 1990 etc formatted as mmm then in the reference formulas, reference it as month (cell) instead of just cell since month (cell) will return a number I think the only way to achieve your result is to change how the resulting formulas grab the value
  • csv - Excel treats a date in format (dd-MMM-yy . . . - Super User
This was discovered when opening a file in CSV format that has a column of dates in the format dd-MMM-yy (e g 20-FEB-24) When opening this file in Excel (Excel 365 desktop) if the 2 year value is <30 the date string is converted to a DATE with year 20XX where XX is the 2 year value of the date string

  • Redditor asks for a MMM Ramit blog for non-high income earners. . .
MMM has a lot of good information for people at all levels, but starting with those salaries is a huge turnoff before digging in and finding the gold in the blog
