Re: MOA at sub 100 ranges This is how i do it, might be wrong but it seems logical So 1 inch at 100 is 1 moa right? 4 inches at 100 is 4 moa right? 4in 1=4moa So say you have a 1 inch circle at 50 yards, 1 5=2 moa 1inch at 25yd 1 25= 4 moa

If your scope has 80 MOA of travel (40 up and 40 down) like the NXS 8x32 has, divide the 80 by 2 equals 40, add 30 back due to the slope of the rail, you will have a total possible 70 MOA of elevation adjustment 30 MOA + or - of elevation at 1000 yards puts the reticle in the center of the optic where you have the best optical clarity

0 MOA base > 0 MIL 20 MOA base > 6 MIL 25 MOA base > 7 5 MIL 30 MOA base > 9 MIL 35 MOA base > 10 5 MIL 40 MOA base > 12 MIL A 25 MOA base is a little uncommon, most are 0, 20, 30 40 MOA IF you go with a 30 MOA (9 MIL) base you MAY or MAY NOT be able to zero properly at 25 or 50 yards, it will be very close with the chosen scope
