- Henson AL13+ vs ++ and ++ vs Merkur 34C - Badger Blade
I've rotated between the 34C, Merkur Slant, DE 89, Gillette vintage Tech, Schick injectors of various vintages, and a few Gillette TTO including the Fatboy However, far and away, the razor I kept coming back to as my daily driver was the 34C
- Merkur 34S vs Razorock GOAT - Badger Blade
I find my Merkur 34S to be a lot more efficient than the Razorock GOAT with the original standard plate But this kind of makes sense as the Razorock GOAT standard plate is around 0 63mm blade gap and the Merkur 34S is around 0 72mm blade gap I just ordered the + plate for the GOAT so i think that will be a more even fair comparison

Merkur has brought back the silver plated Merkur 34 with the updated redesigned 2024+ head now called the 34S The tolerances are now perfect, no more loose tolerances of the 2017-2023 models that could vary significantly The blade tabs are covered and blade alignment is spot on every time
- Merkur listened, Stainless steel Merkur 34C. - Badger Blade

- Merkur 34S Updated Version Comparisons - Badger Blade
It came with Merkur blades, a 10-count tuck that—oddly enough—appears to have been produced in the Czech Republic But it looks rather nice, the knurling is somewhat more raised than on my C and G versions, and the cap and base plate appear to be slightly longer, thus completely covering the blade so no overhang exists
- 34C DE89 R89 - which is more aggressive (even slightly)
Hi all I'm just wondering if anyone has an opinion on the relative aggressiveness of the following : -Merkur 34C -Edwin Jagger DE89 -Muhle R89 I know they are all on the mild side, but if anyone has noticed any differences, I'd be interested in knowing Many thanks
- Blade Wars: Razor Edition - Merkur 34c vs Edwin Jagger DE89
I'll compare a Merkur 34c and an Edwin Jagger DE89 side-by-side, shaving half my face with each razor I've loaded them both up with a new Gillette Silver Blue blade from the same box
