Metroid can really soar when it mixes things up (Dread), but also can really fall (Other M) So yeah super hard to call this I'm hoping for 9's, but I'm feeling more 7-8's I imagine regardless I'll love a lot about it Retro hasn't failed me yet The last sequel from them was Tropical Freeze, and that ended up being a bit of a sleeper

Metroid Prime Remaster sold okay when you compare other recent Nintendo remasters like Xenoblade Chronicles DE or Xenoblade Chronicles X Even Luigi's Mansion 2 HD sales were "soft" I have reservations about Metroid Prime 4 But I don't understand why the other franchises are seen as a hit on Era while Metroid is seen as an underperforming series

Metroid Prime 4 is an isolasionist way of making a new episode in it's nature because it doesn't innovate Gameplay is exactly the same than previous episodes

As a massive metroid fan I'm actually okay with it not feeling like metroid? We've still got the original trilogy which are all fantastic but unfortunately the series just doesn't sell well I'm fine with them trying something else out and changing some things up with the series I'm okay with it, especially with the Prime series

Metroid music has been in a real funk lately (Other M -> Federation Force -> Samus Returns -> Dread all had middling to bad OSTs) so I hope they can finally turn it around I'm not kidding when I say the OST is my most anticipated aspect of the game I consider a massive spoiler hearing it before playing

No plan on getting the Switch 2 until a new good Zelda comes but Metroid Prime 4 looks amazing and easily the best one so far Love the extra interaction with NPCs and a bigger world
