MikroTik gave us vendor drivers (wifi-qcom-ac) starting with ROS 7 13 No issues with roaming anymore Clients choose 5ghz when relatively near AP, smoothly roam over to 2ghz when moving away from AP, smoothly roam back to 5ghz when moving near AP again Works like a charm ♥ Thank you Mikrotik for making it happen ♥

Good point, maybe its the SFP+ module brand I'm using as they are not a Mikrotik brand and probably don't get tested at Mikrotik The SFP+ I'm using at both ends the Maxxwave MW-SX+MM-US But it worked perfect all these years till the moment of the latest 7 5 [stable] update, so it only makes sense its a bug since 7 5beta11 worked perfectly
