I have a Millermatic 252 and a 30A Spool gun but the 30A is bulky and access is limited My question is have any members successfully changed the liner and had consistent good results? And secondly, if someone has done this where was the liner obtained from for the 252? I can't locate the item on Miller's website or on the web Thank you in

Re: Airflow problem on millermatic 252 Hello Daeyel, this is going to be a simple one, so forgive me, but is the gun fully inserted into the power block portion of the feeder unit? If is isn't, the ports on the gun whip won't be lined up and receive gas when the trigger is activated

Looking for the voice of experience here I have been attempting to do vertical up with my Millermatic 252, argon co2 mix 75 25, 1 4 inch plate, setting on the machine (recommended by miller card) 21 volts, wire feed at 375, wire is 035 E70 6S this produces a terrible weld I backed up the wire

I’m purchasing a Miller 252 to replace a Miller 212 autoset The 212 was on a 40amp breaker with 8-2 wire I know that’s too small for the 252, and have been trying to understand what the 252 spec sheet says Will I be ok if I upgrade to a 50amp breaker and 6-2 wire? Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: So happy I bought a Millermatic 252 I use a silver Mylar type pad that covers my fingers knuckles and back of my hand when welding with hot settings The heat from Dual Shield just blasts right through stick welding gloves I have had several scabs on the backs of my knuckles from Dual shield and hot short arc settings
