I was diagnosed with high-grade papillary serous uterine carcinoma Stage1a, Grade 3, Type 2 in the summer of 2018 at age 58 Well really 59, because I had surgery a day after my 59th birthday - total robotic abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral saplingo-oophorectomy, removal of omentum, 19 lymph nodes

Hello, I was diagnosed with Stage 3cG3 Uterine Papillary Serous Carcinoma 11 11 also positive in ovaries per pathology report after TAH-BSO on 12 21 Chemo on Carboplatin Taxol recommended for 6 cycles 1x 3 wks for 18 wks First chemo scheduled Friday 1 13 Apprehensive of side effects specially of neuropathy Do side effects happen right away?

I had three courses of vaginal brachytherapy in late September 2018 and it was sandwiched in between chemo My normal chemo side effects were incontinence, followed by a few days of constipation followed by a few days of diarrhea

I am new here Was diagnosed with serous endometrial cancer in early 2011, stage 3C It was only found during the surgery for a "common" uterine cancer The serous endometrial cancer was found during the surgery in 3 lymph nodes It had not shown up in the uterine biopsy pre-surgery Had complete hysterectomy Had carbo platin chemo, no radiation

Hi @goldengirl2 and others, Chiming in with my experience I'm five years and a few months out from dx of UPSC Had surgery w Da Vinci robot and a superb, skilled, kind surgeon here in Virginia, followed by a 'sandwich regime': three rounds chemo Taxol Carboplatin, 25 sessions of external radiation and 3 sessions of brachytherapy internal rad, 3 final sessions of chem

Hi @speck634, I am doing well, thank you I am 6 years NED, as of this past Nov and I feel really good I do not have any major long term side effects from treatment, other than some neuropathy in my feet - and by neuropathy, I mean some tingling and numbness, no pain

my CA 125 has never been higher than 18 even when they discovered the uterine cancer it was steady at 10 for 2 years now it’s 12???
