- Is MuseHub malware? : r Musescore - Reddit
Please don’t confuse MuseScore with MuseHub MuseScore is an open source project and indeed above-board MuseHub is from a commercial company that keeps its products closed The connection is that MuseHub has managed to get itself distributed through the MuseScore website, using their closed MuseSounds as bait
- [SECURITY RISK] Why is Muse. Service. exe opening multiple P2P . . . - Reddit
The place to discuss that product is their support site, musehub zendesk com But yes, as a MuseScore developer, I do have *some* insight into what Muse Hub is doing - not enough to be able to discuss fine implementation details, but more than enough to understand the basic issue involved
- Musehub background service runs no matter what you do.
Okay I've finally found what worked for me In the search bar next to your Windows Start Button, search MuseHub If no apps show up, try searching one letter at a time (It would show up on "MuseHu" for me but then it would disappear on "MuseHub")
- Muse Hub malware-like behavior and dark shady patterns on . . . - Reddit
Muse Hub is absolutely positively not malware It’s simply an installer program Muse Sounds is over 15 GB currently and will only get larger over time
- Is there any way to install Muse Sounds without internet . . . - Reddit
During installation MuseHub actually installs a LaunchDaemon that get's started during boot-up and runs with full root privileges Stopping killing even removing the startup item task bar app (which only commuincates witht the actual daemon) will NOT remove this process
- Musesounds wont appear as active in musescore : r Musescore - Reddit
I've cleared every single file of musescore musehub (using CCleaner as well as manually) and re-installed them again, I've restarted my computer several times, checked my disk permissions etc using the disk utility, I've tried changing the install location of the musesounds to another folder using the musehub settings menu, and more weird on
- Completely remove Muse Hub from MacOS : r Musescore - Reddit
Hi all, I have been trying to remove Muse Hub and all Musescore products from my Mac without doing a clean reinstall after I found out that the company installs the software with root access
- When your MuseSounds disappear from the MuseScore mixer, try this
(To quit, open MuseHub, click the gear icon in the top right, scroll all the way to the bottom On the bottom right, there are buttons to Quit and Uninstall I assume this probably also would have worked via a Force Quit with cmd+alt+esc ) Then I relaunched MuseHub, and saw that all my sounds were now showing as downloaded
