- Muzzleloader vs 450 - Michigan Sportsman Forum
Muzzleloader 100% for 100 yards vs a 450BM for me If my maximum shot was 100 yards only, I'd choose the ML Not because the 450 isn't more accurate or has better performance but because I don't use it very often where I hunt because shots can be much further I've never needed a follow up shot with a rifle or muzzleloader in the past

- Tc triumph load suggestions | Michigan Sportsman Forum
Dedicated muzzleloader primers do not work properly and will either misfire or hangfire WIN209 primers may work in warm weather but, its a sure fire way to have a hangfire in really cold weather As far as the XTP bullet goes, its one bullet that is dependable but, its actually designed for slower speeds than most are shooting today
- Remington 700ML Upgrades | Michigan Sportsman Forum
I recently picked up a used Remington 700ML and put a 2-7X Nikon Prohunter on it It shoots pretty good, in my opinion, but I was getting some blowback from the action with CCI 209 primers, two (2) White Hot pellets, and 240gn Hornady XTP's I know there are many upgrades, conversions, etc
