- Torch spark plug cross reference | BobIsTheOilGuy
Sorry if my post was confusing I don’t need a simple cross reference I need a cross reference to a plug that has a 5 8 hex, not 3 4 or 13 16, which is what the Torch plug and NGK mentioned above are
- Difficulty Finding Compatible NGK Spark Plugs for Generator
Denso and NGK both make good spark plugs, so no reason to use one or the other, except maybe price availability Sounds like iridium is the way to go for an extra $5 I don't expect to put a lot of hours on this generator, but better starting could be important Couldn't get the old nut off easily so I'll just buy some spares

- Antique Briggs Engine Spark Plug Selection | BobIsTheOilGuy
Use NGK BR2-LM or Autolite XST458 (iridium) Same heat range as the J19 you took out It looks like the appropriate heat range for your usage It might still be worth using a resistor Autolite still makes the iridium Xtreme Start Why use the resistor? The heat range thing is what gets me The engine was designed for a Champion 8 (4-6 in NGK)
