"Nvidia studio driver" are for editing, music production and software that aren't games Either ur a gamer or a content creator, but if u are both stick to the "geforce game ready driver"

Currently Nvidia Fermi (Geforce 400 500 Series except Geforce 405) and newer GPUs are supported, anything earlier is left out of support Fermi users must use newer DirectX 12 cappable drivers since they are WDDM 2 x drivers Fortunately only DX9 DX10 GPUs will no longer work, but listing here for informative pruposes

Found out how, just add that games main exe to the "Manage 3D settings" section in Nvidia control panel Even if your not actually making any changes, just having it in there will make the fps counter work

Kinda late but for my case nvidia control panel was showing my 2nd monitor but not my laptop monitor bcoz my laptop monitor is using Intel Graphics But I was able to switch my laptop to use my RTX 2060 instead of Intel Graphics I have an MSI GS66 and MSI has a software called MSI Dragon Center and under the General Settings there's a GPU Switch and I just choose Discrete Graphics Mode Now
