- Ranger or Necromancer for solo open-world play?
As for ranger vs necro for (solo) open wold: Both can be easy and powerful On necro it might be a bit easier to perform well, but i'd say ranger has more potential (Untamed is currently probably the strongest solo spec if played properly)
- Necro main asking for Transfusion nerf - Guild Wars 2 Forums
Isn't scaled properly - has the same resources whether fighting 1 or 5 enemies - predicts ArenaNet will eventually cave and nerf everything EXCEPT the actual problems (like they did with Willbender and Spellbreaker) Instead, necro should require more skill for its power rather than being balanced around being braindead easy

Quick testing on kitty golem at highest damage level seems quite decent, I can comfortably keep myself at full health pretty easily Healing output-wise, it's no less than any good healing builds out there The biggest hurdle is having limited access to healing while in Shroud But I've also found that the longer the buffer you can build from initial Shrouds, the less you need to go into

- So, I played Necro. . . . . - Warrior - Guild Wars 2 Forums
