So I am well aware of the history that Nissan has had with their Xtronic CVT because I have a 2015 Nissan Altima which I've had to replace the transmission 3 times (I regularly perform routine fluid changes) I vowed that this would be the last time I ever purchase a Nissan with a CVT (and yes I am aware that all CVT transmissions are not the best) I am currently on the market for a Toyota

There's no "cheat" for Nissan CVT's in general, and no provision for doing it with a generic scan tool Below is the procedure if you obtain a capable tool Once you get it erased, the TCM will read the new data the next time the ignition is turned on If it doesn't take for any reason, check the CVT connector and wiring
