Wondering if anyone is taking or had taken Norethindrone 5mg daily (generic for Aygestin) for abnormal uterine bleeing I have post-menopause 6 years - have had some uterine bleeding Diagnosed after Biopsy and D C with Simple Hyperplasia First HRT was medroxyprogesterone - which made me very sick and bled for 14 days non stop

At that time he put me on Norethindrone (which I understand is a progesterone) also mega iron, vit E, BP meds, and multi vits All this to get me up to par for surgery Is there anyone out there that is also on this Norethindrone prior to surgery And if so whats the reasoning for this He claims this should slow the bleeding down until my surgery

aygestin?? I am suppose to start aygestin (norethindrone) after I finish my period this week I haven't officially been diagnosed with endometriosis but I have every symptom of it!!! Mostly I have very painful intercourse, if I didn't have that I wouldn't be too concerned about having painful cycles months ect

At 10 days post-op, the doc put me on Norethindrone Acetate and Ambien Both meds say dizziness is a possible side effect, but the papers with the meds make it sound like it is effects that will happen early and then go away
