Think you are correct BainMan Checking the Chevrolet Pressroom release on the 2010 and 2011 Avalanche, LMG block only offering for 2010 but in 2011 there were both blocks offered, LMG and LC9 I guess they wanted to test out the LC9 for a few years before they risked putting an engine in not up to the standards of the Avalanche

Aw, it was a old Nova that I did that for too Mine was a '73 I finally came up with a set of 4 10's and a used posi for my 10 bolt I got a local shadetree guy to install them for me because I knew that they would whine if I did it myself Long story short, they whined anyway but it accelerated better
