YAY! PROBLEM FIXED!!! Had the dealer look for my clunk in early April, all bolts tight in crossmember, bodymounts were good

Got the Alpha Rex Nova Headlights on These have their own proprietary LED projectors All lights in the unit are LED Installation was a snap, As I am very cautious, it took me just over an hour (the dealer quoted me $150 for them to do it)

as the topic says i'm looking into upgradeing my rear differental but i'm torn between two choice's looking at either a eaton e-locker or detroit tru trac i've got a '05 z71 with no lift kit just adjusted my torsion bars and stock 265 70 17 rubber (going to be 285 70 17 befor the winter)

Today I throw my car into reverse and nothing happens I put my foot on the gas and the engine just revs It's like Reverse is now neutral THis totally sucks I checked my tranny fluid and it was low I put more tranny fluid in but the reverse has not come back There are no Tranny fluid

Remove the transmission shifting cable from the selector arm at the transmission and see if you can push the selector more, if you cannot then the parking mechanism (Pawl) inside the transmission is broken and needs to be replaced The issue on mine was part # 10 inside the trans (see image

IMO, I'm not surprised that the tow-haul makes a pretty good performance mode I'm guessing that the 'standard' shift program is optimized for gas mileage, and like the 1-4 skip shifter on the Vette, and uselessly tall 6th gears on a variety of performance cars, this is one more technical trick that lets automakers get better CAFE numbers and still provide useful and fun vehicles!
