I have been a Twitch Partner and a member of StreamElements' "Dream Team" for several years In that time, I have done a number of sponsorships with SE, and never had any major problems But it seems things have changed I accepted a sponsorship, and my repeated requests to see the contract before the broadcast were dodged

Popular doesn't mean 'good' or 'best' when it comes to alerts The popular options are the most promoted ones Between these two, StreamElements StreamElements has a nice overlay editor and no hidden costs (as far as I'm aware) StreamLabs have a history of shady behaviour There are other options too

Login to streamelements Go to Streaming tools > My overlays If not existing, then create a new overlay Press the + button > Stream tools > "Your stream chat" (place it where u want) Settings: Set theme to whatever (I did custom with a transparent background) Save and then click on the little chain-link to copy the URL

The URL for the StreamElements overlays can be obtained from the StreamElements overlay Editor, by clicking the Launch button (lower left corner of the screen, while editing an overlay) Remember that the StreamElements user needs to be added to your Twitch channel moderators, so it can do all that is required

My best guess to what they’re doing is being a broker for sponsorships X company reaches out to StreamElements looking for people to promote their product StreamElements sends out the info to their users That user makes a conversion and X company pays StreamElements StreamElements then pays their users

Try this, in OBS, on the top menu, go to StreamElements then click Logout, log back in and voila! Started working again for me Started working again for me Hope it works for everyone else
