Oikawa puts into perspective what the more human side is While yes, he knows he a good player, he knows his team depends on him, he also gets jealous and rightfully so, i've gotten annoyed or jealous especially when someone younger then me with natural talent emerges like how it was for Oikawa and Kageyama

Also agree that Oikawa is literally the “Final Boss” At the start of the story, Oikawa (and Seijoh) was a big competitor against Karasuno, and Oikawa was the “Great King” And, at the end Hinata and Kags face the same situation just like the beginning, Oikawa is still the “Great King” of the team
