- Skip Windows Updates - NTLite Forums
I have randomly seen this new Feature Update screen, it's a recent W11 OOBE change that's pushed out if you're not using Unattended mode to skip past the OOBE screens So far, I don't know how Windows decides whether you get this immediate Update A few possible workarounds:
- Windows 11 24H2 bypasses the unattend settings for Windows PE
This isn't a screenshot of WinPE, it's from the OOBE screen SkipMachineOOBE SkipUserOOBE settings are deprecated in W10 11, but still work They should not be used in Unattended, because having undefined "Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" settings can break OOBE's behavior when used together with Skip*OOBE

2 The OOBE asks 3 security questions (pet's name, mothers maiden name, etc) Is there a setting to bypass this? Also if it's an option, pre-add the user on the Unattended page, otherwise I'll review the garlin's proposed tweak and add it to the list where it works
- Why did my PC restart? message. How to bypass this?
And the OOBE reseal? If you're not doing sysprep don't need it I set the OOBE reseal back to default and the same system message reappeared Kind of scratching my head at the moment
- Disable New Outlook from appearing in the Taskbar after OOBE (W11 24H2)
I'm modifying a Windows 11 24H2 (26100 1000) system image with NTLite, and as soon as I connect to the network while OOBE, outlook(new) appears in the taskbar, and it's important to note that it's not the Uschedule_OOBE that has been discussed in the forums before, and I've removed the uso
