I just graduated high school and im between going to UW Milwaukee or UW Oshkosh at Fox Cities I know Fox Cities is closing in 2025 and I was wondering if it is worth still going there My original plan was to go there for one year undecided with decent grades and 24 credits and then transfer to UW Madison Is this plan still feesible

Baxter’s was awesome I grew up in Sheboygan and we had one, too Tonight my family and I went to the restaurant that’s in the Sheboygan Baxter’s’ old space—the Black Pig (Highly recommend if you’re ever in Sheboygan!!) That’s what got me thinking of the one in Oshkosh (I went to UW-O)

Piggybacking on this thread as a first time fly-in camper to Oshkosh: Are there camp stores on site for things like groceries and toiletries? Is it best to bring enough food to last the whole week or manageable to bring a couple days and replenish on site?

At Oshkosh, it's completely reasonable to camp without cooking; you've got restaurants, a liquour store and a real grocery store within a mile and a half of the friar tuck gate, and more carnival food than you can shake a stick at out the main gate, besides the overpriced food on the grounds

Oshkosh is relatively nice, there’s a few options for daycare, schools are pretty good, especially if you avoid north high school (go west), the crime here you would be very unlikely to see most of it is small town stuff like petty theft or drugs, and at that not nearly at Fort Worth levels
