- Am I overthinking on buying a P1S? : r BambuLab - Reddit
The P1S is a great printer, but isn’t “cheap” per se, so for you to buy one as a “potential hobby” where you’ll be learning 3D modeling, I’d say make sure you are dedicated to the process of learning
- Why should I buy the P1S instead of the A1? : r BambuLab - Reddit
I would say that the best feature of the P1S over the A1 is the fact that it has a smaller footprint and is enclosed It’s a neater package which also can achieve better results if printing in ASA, CF etc One of my favorige things is how compact and neat the P1S w AMS on top is
- What are your must-have mods for P1S? : r BambuLab - Reddit
Riser for AMS and ventilation, Swifty because it only took like two minutes, feed guides for the PTFE tubes, Y-splitter for the filament dryer, hinged cover for the P1S display so the glow isn't annoying, a few respool spools for any cardboard spool filaments I pick up (and then a Pastamatic to do the respooling) Other than that I just print things I want to print Happy to not need to mod
- Any real differences between P1P and P1S? : r BambuLab - Reddit
P1S is an enclosed P1P with an aux chamber fan It also has a fan for the main circuit board to prevent overheating that can occur when the printer is enclosed Otherwise they’re pretty much the same Look at the P1P to P1S upgrade kit in the Bambu accessories section to see all the parts that are upgraded on the P1S
- p1S upgrading to print Nylon carbon fiber and everything else . . . - Reddit
p1S upgrading to print Nylon carbon fiber and everything else x1C can?
- Is a P1S a good 3D printer for a total newcomer? - Reddit
P1S is the enclosed version of the P1P, this means it can handle filaments like ABS, ASA and maybe nylon and polycarbonate X1C is the flagship It has a hardened steel nozzle for abrasive filaments like glow in the dark, carbon fiber and glass fiber filled Enclosed just like the P1S Comes with a touch screen interface rather than a LCD
- X1 Carbon Vs P1S, anyone have actual use of both to compare?
Anyone here with an x1 carbon also pickup a p1s and upgraded parts and able to give me an opinion on practical differences? I know LiDAR and bigger screen differences plus the heat bed temp difference but wondered about it in practical use Plan to mostly print pla, PETG, polycarbonate, and want to possibly get into nylon as well
- Printing Nylon-CF on P1S : r BambuLab - Reddit
Second question is, I need my product to be more impact shock resistant than heat, have good layer adhesion, and not be warped Reading up on this, PA6-CF seems to be the better option Those with experience, which would be better? And third question, should I be able to print these on the P1S with just a hardened nozzle and hardened extruder
