The P226 elite Legion SAO will get you pretty close to the X-Five in trigger feel with a Grayguns sear, Sig Armorer strut, and adjustable trigger for overtravel (the legion comes with one ) It'll be lower weight due to the alloy frame, so muzzle rise will be a bit more
- P226 vs P229 - SIG Talk
P226 has better sight radius, felt recoil will be a bit less, but not major No substantial difference in reliability Mechanical accuracy should be around the same more or less The p226 is not really that much bigger than a p229

At a glance, single action (sao) P226 models have a 1 7" width vs da sa models, which have a 1 5" width I'm guessing the extra 0 2" in width is at the sao's thumb safety but wouldn't know for sure Otherwise, I'm unfamiliar with sao P226 models and what holster makers are out there; or what type of holster Post 1's author wants

- M P9 vs Sig P226 vs - Northeastshooters. com Forums
One thing I'm really stuck on is the trigger Again, I didn't do a live fire, only dry, but the difference between the M P9 and P226 was like night and day The M P had considerable travel between rest and fire, with a gritty feel to it, while the P226 had a much smaller "play" and a smooth action How much of a help is the Apex kit with these
- P220 vs P226 | SIG Talk
Why would P226 be voted " the best " if the most common caliber for the 226 is the 9mm? I agree both guns are great, same size, but the single stack P220 is much easier to grip If I was a gun maker, I would want the gun to represent me to have a long history, and to fire a very powerful round: P220
