I have a semi hollow body that has regular p90s right now and I was wondering if there are any companies out there that offer a p 90 sized humbucker? I like the idea of having 12 adjustable screws and just a hotter output to get a fatter sound Has anyone had any experience with these type

Although they aren't P90's, I really like the tone of the GFS Surf 90's from Guitar Fetish Not P90's, Dysonic types, but a different than humbucker tone you might like and the price is very low I have them in several guitars My other guitars have high-end pickups from Don Mare, Throback, OX4, and Lollar These Surf 90's are very cool

Something else to consider, and probably the biggest reason you feel they sound weak, is the 2014 LP Melody Maker didn't come with P90 pickups They're an AlNiCo rod magnet version of a P90 that is more in-between a P90 and a Fender single coil
