Hi, I have a 17 year old yellow collar mini macaw who lost the feathers on her head when she was young due to an infection Her head is getting very dry and flakey and I have tried using moisturizing lotion on it which helped with the dryness but actually made the flakeyness worse My vet

What do you guys recommend,as the best perches out there to wear your Fids nails down? I have been looking at Bird on the rocks,and I do plan on getting those But are there any other products that you would recommend that have worked really well to wear their nails down,fairly consistently?

Citrus is a really quiet parrot, he doesn't scream, nor is too messy with food Bourkes have these sweet little chirping that everyone loves, they also chirp while they fly! So it's easy to know when they're flying, even if you're not in the same room They are not destructive either, which is why they're so recommended as apartment pets

Anyone have any information on The PSI of bird bites? I've just found cockatoos can hit 250 to 350 psi - But it doesn't specify the different species I would imagine there's a decent difference between a goffin and a moluccan I can't find diddly squat on smaller birds though @flyzipper

I read a story a couple of months ago on another forum about a women who housed a macaw and cockatoo in the same room The macaw was sensitive to the dustiness of the too and unfortunately passed away due to the dust :sad5: I only have a conure which is not a dusty bird but would like to know
