- Why do you use PIPP? - Solar Observing and Imaging - Cloudy Nights
Why do you use PIPP? - posted in Solar Observing and Imaging: I just downloaded PIPP, and was playing with it? Im not sure of its utility, given that Autostakkert seems to accomplish generally the same It does order frames in terms of quality, and allows you to only keep the best, but without doing the former first, how would you decide the later? Cropping likely was first done during capture

Running PIPP from the command line - posted in Astronomy Software Computers: Hi everyone, I have many short videos of Jupiter that I want to run PIPP on I thought I could run PIPP from the command line with options and do this with a bash or bat script But I cant find any information on this It seems like you should be able to tell PIPP to use a specific pipp_options file But I cant find

- PIPP debayering for ASI183MC Pro - Cloudy Nights
PIPP debayering for ASI183MC Pro - posted in Major Minor Planetary Imaging: Rather strange but when I open an AVI made by my ASI183MC Pro in PIPP, it pops a window that tells me it has detected a Bayer pattern of GRBG and that this detection is not always 100% accurate and I should make sure that Im using the best pattern for my camera Since my camera has a Bayer pattern of RGGB, I make the
