It would appear that the nature of "Components" prevents this however This could be avoided if I could insert prebuilt bodies as bodies and not components Its a bit unintuitive that I cant just mash 3d objects together into a larger 3d object, but after reading a bit about this it seems to just be a quirk of fusion 360

12-20-2023 02:10 PM I used the Convert Mesh command with the Prismatic option This option is not available in the Fusion 360 Personal License If you have models this simple, it would be very easy simply to model it as a solid body! For more complex models, you may want to look at other applications
