Hot Take: Pachy isn’t actually that overpowered (and a few tips to deal with them) Ik I’m probably gonna get alot of heat for this, but as a long-time pachy main, I thought I’d give a bit of insight into why I think the recent complaints over pachies might be a bit overblown

pachy is a big hit n run playstyle carnos can be a bit tougher with their charge turn radius being narrowed, but if you aim a rmb attack at their side legs (lower their stam reduce their speed, respectively), even if they try using their alt on you you can usually get a head break on em (greatly reduces their vision and looks funny)

I’m using a stam build for pyc and a pure speed and stam build for Pachy Being omnivorous means Pachy can pretty much play however and the extra speed makes you a difficult meal and prevents anything from escaping you And obviously lots of stam helps a carnivore track and kill prey (I also just prefer the Stam variant’s appearance)

Pachy is a quick grow especially with the sanctuary The littler guys are also super quick - dryo, hipsi, troodon However I’d agree with cera because even if you split it into two sessions, the end result is more worth it With the huge scent range, you can almost always find food so solo play is a little easier Also, you can still hunt and hold your own against some other players but
