I got a panniculectomy on October 3rd, 2011 and still have my drainage balls in I'm not sure what the technical name for them are, but I originally started out with 3 drains Ten days after my surgery the first drain was taken out It has been 3 weeks today and I'm still draining anywhere between 30-50ccs of fluid and or blood

We submitted a preapproval claim to my insurance company (for them to cover the panniculectomy portion) and it was denied I'm going back to my plastic surgeon's office tomorrow to have more pictures taken for an appeal, and the nurse said that it would help a lot if I had a letter for them to send in with the appeal detailing how my panniculus
