It's important to note that the 3 6 "pentastar upgrade" or "PUG" V6 in the 2018-current Wrangler JLs is not the same engine as the 3 6 "pentastar" V6 used in the 2012-2018 JK Wrangler The head gasket issues you're hearing about affect the PUG engines and not the originals I have seen the exact same posts on jlwranglerforums

our '17 Wrangler with the Pentastar shows the same thing, after a cold start the pressure is much higher than any other vehicle I've had, but then it goes down to approx 35 psi at normal temps My old '98 ZJ 4 0 idles at around 30 psi and will hit a max of 50 psi after a cold start
