I recently purchased the 9" Octa-Core Android Navigation Radio from Phoenix Automotive I have the unit installed and while it is a tight fit, it does in fact fit My goal was to not pay the high price tag (at least high for me) for the 8 4" OEM solution and to gain the feature that I wanted

I have the Phoenix system in my F150… looks pretty cool, and you can play YouTube which the kids love But… it’s glitchy Jumps radio stations and connecting to Wi-Fi isn’t always reliable, also, when playing YouTube the screen minimizes Mine is a couple years old so they may have the software in better condition

The only thing I bought from Teyes was the adapter that Phoenix Automotive apparently forgot to account for I followed the explanation that was provided in this thread (UNC) who installed the adapted as well, so I used the CVSB RCS and not the AHD RCA connection Took me a little bit to think through the wiring for power

Greg, Yeah, it does power up with the ignition I will have to go in and play with the settings to see if the canbus will work

1 Try and return it for a refund (I still have all the packaging) and go buy the ADC Mobile head unit which does appear to have all the right bits and pieces for plug play One concern here would be actually getting the refund from Phoenix

The Phoenix version seemed to eliminate these buttons The Phoenix from the pics looks cleaner, but the physical AC buttons are useful Also, Phoenix customer service seems to be a bit hard to deal with and i've heard a lot of negative reviews on Phoenix The Phoenix does claim to have a newer

It's so much better than the factory 5" its absurd I'd rather have the Teyes over the factory 8", but I will qualify that statement by saying I've only had it installed a week so long term reliability is unknown
