They also have an Ortho residency program, but Podiatry is the Foot and Ankle Orthopedic service within the Ortho program and the hospital as a whole That means 4th year ortho residents rotate through Podiatry (although they just cover surgical cases) to get their F A numbers They also cover a weekend of call every month
- Surgical numbers in residency | Student Doctor Network Forums
What would be good numbers to strive for during each year of residency? How many surgical cases should you have by the end of 3rd year? What types of cases should each year be doing? Or just, what was is your experience with residency surgical numbers and types of cases?

The other stuff is just a formality for residency grad The day a hospital Med Staff committee asks for how many office and bedside wound debrides, number of "biologic dressings," how many subtalar ROM exams, how many casts, how many verruca treatments, how many ingrown nails one has done is simply not going to arrive
- new ABPS requirement | Student Doctor Network
ABPS has established a web application called Podiatry Logging Service (PLS) for Surgery especially for this purpose The site will be operated by Podiatry Residency Resource (PRR)
