The in dash Vintage air evap unit is installed I have a brand new R4 compressor, new condenser, new drier, and new binary switch Now I’m trying to figure out how much oil do I put in? The new AC Delco compressor doesn’t say how much oil is in it…so I’m in the close my eyes and guess mode?

The Vintage Air evaporator is about the same size as the Classic but the differences that I see are obvious These units use two fittings for the heater core and two for the evaporator refrigerant to pass through the firewall

Vintage Air instructions say to mount a block off plate onto the firewall and route the hoses through the fender removable plate (UCA adjustment access) and through the fender apron inner wheel housing gap

Upon the advice of an un-named Vintage Air tech, I was told to make a manifold to fit the ac unit and use 2 outlets This was the only way the air could have been inserted behind a reasonably stock dash, and without the tunnel I'd also recommend avoiding any bulk material buildup if using a stock firewall
