I started taking Proscar (cut into 4ths) in January 2011 to treat what I felt was the beginnings of a receding hairline 8 months in and all I have experienced is even more diffused and thinning of my front hairline, temples, and now even vertex It's been a nightmare but I'm committed to see it through to the 12-month mark to see if the shed hair will grow back At this point, I'd be thrilled

Dear forum members, I have a question about finasteride, more specifically in the form of Proscar tablets (5mg) from Merck Do any of you know how many years a pack stays good for consumption? I am thinking about getting a bunch so that the sum of money spent goes above a certain threshold, which means that the insurance
- Is splitting finasteride 5mg bad? Will it ruin the effectiveness?
Splitting a 5mg tablet of finasteride (Proscar) is not easy as it will not split evenly This should not be a problem as the dose over 4 or 5 days will still be 1mg or 1 25 mgs, enough to get the full value of it
