- SMB File Access Blocked For Windows Pro After Win11 24H2 Update . . .
Drive mappings were still working, Macrium backup to the NAS was still working, and Qfinder mostly worked, but I couldn't access the QNAP in Windows Explorer After more fiddling and Googling, I found a YouTube video (with linked articles) that explains that the 24H2 Update changes one or two default settings in SMB

I bought a TS-120 some days ago and attached it to my router QFinder can not find that box I figured out the IP-Address and could connect to it using Firefox From there I was able to initialize the NAS including firmware update Still QFinder can not find it Why? I am using Windows 8 The net subnet is the same for the NAS and my laptop I temporarily disabled the firewall on the laptop

I can login from the login page after clicking the login icon on the Qfinder Pro window with the new name password However if I right click on the NAS line and select "Restart Device" or if I click "Tools" then "Restart Device" and bring up the login window I get "Login failure: Invalid username or password "

And to get the cloud key - you have to go to Qfinder Pro > Details - and log in But if you did the factory reset, you can't log in, because you don't know the Cloud Key
