I noticed when watching anime that some Japanese names could pass for Yoruba ones Even a name like Noguchi, a common Japanese name I found after doing some googling could pass as an Igbo name Have you noticed and why is this so?

Just as a fun side note, if you do decide to go with a Japanese name, any ending in -ko will feel like old lady names to many Japanese people Think Yukiko, Eriko, Hanako etc That shouldn't stop you from choosing them if you love them, but I thought it was a fun fact
