- Does RPP affect RRSP Contribution Room? : r CanadianInvestor - Reddit
Yes, RPP contributions do impact your RRSP contribution room Your employer’s contributions will almost always show up on your T4 slip as a pension adjustment This number is used to decrease your RSP contribution room for the FOLLOWING year, and that number will appear on your Notice of Assessment in the RSP contribution calculation
- Rogers Preferred Program Question; bad rate plans? : r Rogers
Further, the plans mention that they only save you $5 a month It seems odd because the regular consumer plans are actually cheaper than RPP right now Does RPP currently just have some bad deals and they might be better in the future? Or does my company just have a ”bad” agreement with Rogers? Thanks!

Box 20 says RPP contributions: is this the amount that I, as an employee, contributed to the RRSP plan at work? Box 52 says Pension Adjustment: is this the total cost of the plan, ie Mine and the employer's contributions? Because I actually want to figure out how much TOTAL (EE and ER) contributions were made last year Archived post

- The benefits of RPP over RRSP? : r PersonalFinanceCanada - Reddit
RPP tax deduction is the same as an RRSP You don’t ‘see’ it because the money goes straight into the RPP so you don’t get tax back, you just don’t pay it in (your employer adjusts taxes deducted based on RPP) Also, where else are you going to get an instant return of 100%? 8k for the price of 4k
- Withdrawing manulife RPP, need advice as I’m currently jobless
Most RPP transfers will go to a LIRA (think locked in RRSP) If you meet the conditions for withdrawal, ys it's taxable income and you lose that room permanently The withholding tax is just prepayment of taxes Final tax obligation is based on total incoem for the year (including RRSP LIRA withdrawal)

- Reaper . RPP file format : r Reaper - Reddit
Has anyone reverse engineered the RPP file format? I ask because (a) I am curious but also (b) it might be useful from other angles I have written a data base that lists all tracks that I have recorded in every project in every album, and it's useful to see where if they have been used before
