- AR-15 cross-brand incompatibility? Will BM and RRA upper lower match?
Stag Arms offers an "RRA National Match 2-stage trigger" upgrade for $85 on the built lower Is the NM trigger upgrade worth it? My only AR experience is from the issue M16-A2, and I don't recall having any complaints about the trigger
- AR-15 M4 - Decisions Decisions! | The High Road
RRA makes them Bushmaster and RRA give you a chrome lined barrel in their M4s (Bushmaster does in all their barrels except the CMP match barrels) If that's important to you Armalite, Bushmaster, Colt, DPMS, and RRA all make good rifles They all have little things that they do better or uniquely
- AR-15 for competition | The High Road
RRA will sell you a NM gun with a detachable carry handle that is good to go in service rifle, correct? The A4 railed upper w detachable handle removed becomes a fun platform for all sorts of other interesting toys (red dots, full scopes, etc)
- which AR15 for under $2000 | The High Road
The RRA, I only shoot hand loads and it is 1 2" groups or less at 100 yards from the bench Just look at which fits you the best If you can try differs configurations, I'd advise it The DD is a total different beast than the RRA I choose the HK as my "battle rifle" because of the reliability with accuracy
- AR 15 Two Stage Triggers. | The High Road
Both RRA and ArmaLite use the same basic design as do almost all AR two stage triggers like Geissele and others They are a copy of the M1 Garand trigger design
- AR15 trigger problems | The High Road
The RRA trigger is actually a few years old and has been in and out of a couple lowers, so a warranty is doubtful, but it had worked flawlessly for hundreds of rounds in the rifle it was in before this one
- AR Forging Mfrs | The High Road
I have searched the threads here to no avail (doesn't mean it's not there!) for a listing of the forging manufacturers of the AR receivers sold by DPMS, LRB, RRA, and all the others I know there are 3 or 4, but can't find the reference I'd appreciate a pointer if any of you know where I
- Mixing and matching AR lowers and uppers | The High Road
Most of the time there is no problem From what I've seen, some times a shooter might have to remove a small amount of metal from the rear pin lug of the upper to get the upper all the way down in the lower I've seen this three tomes when matching a RRA upper with a Bushy lower And once when using a RRA lower and a Bushy upper
