- RSR, FSR, FSR3, FMF Explained : r ROGAlly - Reddit
RSR upscales the entire final image output, including UI elements, which can lead to less sharp UI, especially for text In contrast, FSR1 integrates directly into the game’s rendering pipeline, focusing on upscaling the 3D scene while leaving UI elements untouched and rendered at the display’s native resolution
- What is RSR really? : r ROGAlly - Reddit
What is the RSR mentioned for the crate UI? Is it just simple resolution scaling or is it FSR like or…? Any reviews test it out? Archived post New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast
- How to use RSR on Ally? : r ROGAlly - Reddit
Seems like the resolution and refresh rate setting on the quick menu (forgot the name) follows in-game resolution setting? So when I tried changing the game to 720p, the setting on quick menu also changed to 720p In this case, if I toggle RSR, does it work at all? In my knowledge RSR works by upscale the lower res in-game to screen's higher res, right? Same like in Elden Ring Was trying to
- Best afmf settings ? : r ROGAlly - Reddit
It should be noted that scalers like RSR only work if the in game resolution is lower than the native resolution of your display The idea is you render at a lower quality then scale it in order to generate more frames, better performance
- What is the difference between FSR and Radeon super resolution . . . - Reddit
FSR 1 and RSR use the same upscaling algorithm but in different way FSR is implemented in game and this allows it to work before the GUI is added This way you have the gui at native resolution and the game is upscaled, resulting in better quality With RSR the whole game is rendered at the lower resolution and then upscaled, GUI included
- Correct Use of FSR RSR : r LegionGo - Reddit
RSR is basically FSR 1 So if a game has FSR always use that first If it doesn’t have FSR then use RSR RSR just upscales the game image to look slightly better There is an improvement but not enough to even make it worth using unless it was something to easily toggle on and off in the Lenovo menu
- Can someone please explain to me when to use RSR and when to . . . - Reddit
RSR is enabled by default on the Ally, but most games I play have FSR 2 0 If I understand correctly, RSR is just FSR 1 0 but at the driver level so it works in games that don't support FSR If both are enabled, does FSR take priority? Or do I need to disable RSR if FSR is enabled? And is it OK to use windowed fullscreen or must it be exclusive fullscreen? Also, I tried toggling RSR on and off
- Why does radeon super resolution show inactive: please select lower . . .
Why does radeon super resolution show "inactive: please select lower than native resolution" when I have already done that?
