After almost 1 year of wetshaving I have amassed a small arsenal of 6 different safety razors I do like them all, but don't want to keep them all :p, So I have started doing a pseudo scientific comparison to determine which of them I might sell in the new year ( vintage and modern included)
- What happened to Gillette Sensor razors?. . . . Need advice!
When I got to the grocery store, the pickin's were slim when it came to razors I was like, "Where are the Sensor razors?" Anyway, I bought a Gillette Mach 3, popped it out of the package tonight, and ABSOLUTELY HATED IT! Worst shaving experience I've EVER had! What's up with this new funky cartridge razor angle? Who came up with this? Ugh!

Just looking at the Shield Titanum razors on Aliexpress I was able to expand the wbsite and discovered not only is Shield making Titanium razors in all configurations but has added 316 stainless steel and aluminum to their sales site You can buy a razor in DE,SE,AC GEM or a combination head

My top three razors are Parker Variants (the original and OC), Maggard V3A, and a 2019 (slightly gentler) version of Mühle R41 The common traits that make them so great for me is the combination of being fairly aggressive yet at the same time very forgiving and smooth
