Two years ago I was diagnosed with pretty bad osteoporosis because of the prednisone I was on for my autoimmune disease I started taking Fosamax (a bisphosphonate) and had no problems Today, the endocrinologist suggested that I switch to Reclast for 3 yearly infusions Has anyone else taken this drug? What side effects have you had? Thanks
- Is Reclast just 1 dose or has to be multiple? - Mayo Clinic Connect
I need to understand the dosing of Reclast better I am coming off Evenity and need further medication Can Reclast be used as 1 dose, then I would follow up with another drug (hopefully Evenity again) Or does Reclast need to given for a longer length of time, say up to 3 years? Is just one dose enough to lock in gains?
- Does anyone have a solution to help manage Reclast side effects?
Does anyone have a solution to combat Reclast side effects I had the infusion a year and a half ago and the side effects started shortly after I had the infusion I still have weak legs, swelling in feet, pain in bones, dizziness (serious dizziness), cold sweats, tired all the time and nervous twitching in bones Any suggestions?
